Thread for discussing height, weight, clothing, etc.

A few weeks ago, I was getting a tire changed at my local Walmart and while I was waiting, I decided to do the "criminal aisle" browse. I came across the exact brand/size of Ozark backpack Porch Guy was wearing. I was surprised at how small it was. It could not have held more than a change of clothes or two or some utensils for kidnapping (rope, tape, tarp, knives, etc).

It was surprisingly tiny. Definitely not large enough to steal anything of substantial size.

The gloves still have fold creases in them, so likely brand new. The jacket cuffs also do not have those tell tale dirt smudges which I think would show up even on a black dye fabric that glows white (total guess) No wear on the backpack that I could see, so all new attire for the plan? Why? Why all new attire, why not wear existing clothes, especially if you might plan to get rid of them? Because someone might recognize existing clothes. Why would anyone care if they intended on murder? Did they know the camera worked, then?

Now I'm convincing myself that the Lantana dance at the front door WAS a show.

Just my thoughts here, but I keep seeing posts about little feet, big head, very large hands… I think the images are distorted by the lens creating the sense that anything close to the camera appears huge (hands with “boxing gloves”), and that which is farther away appears relatively smaller (tapered legs to smallish feet). When I look at him as he is approaching the porch he appears more proportional. Hands and all. I’ve looked through random ring cam footage online and see the same distortion effect. I guess what I’m saying is, he’s been accused of wearing very bulky gloves or so many layers that he wouldn’t be able to manipulate or operate his firearm - discounting his preparedness, but that may not be true. I’ve been looking at this video this morning and I know people have mentioned the foot turn out but in this image I want to bring up how actually both legs turn out from the hip. This is very difficult to do without training or just being built this way. I’m actually wondering if our suspect might have ballet training? Or are my eyes playing tricks and this is just him stepping up?

Another piece I want to bring up is the darkness around the mouth. What is that? Is it the reflectivity of the mask? A different material?

And finally, the back of the legs seem to have a line or wrinkle. I can’t tell if it is boxers or padding or what? Could it be body armor?
And definitely something in the right pants pocket.

Last night on FOX Nancy Grace said there was evidence of a tattoo on the wrist of the perp. I cant find the clip online. I mean, it looks like a line (someone here has noted this before.) Doesnt narrow the field much bit it is a mark. She mentioned some tattoo data base too. IDK. MOO

Going to put my screenshots in one post with things I notice outside of the turnout I mention above.

  • Suspect has on a belt- you can see in bottom left picture.
  • The jacket has a specific detail under pocket, not sure if it’s a cinch waist or logo?
  • Suspect has something in jacket pocket
  • Pants pockets look fuller from behind than they do from front.
  • There are definite wrinkles showing on back side under pants. What is that? Boxers, padding?
  • The mask is different at eyes, color, fabric or reflectivity, I’m not sure.
  • The mouth is different too - appears black but I’m not convinced that’s hair. Also a whitish area to the left of mouth. Not sure what that is either.

I think most people have thought it's either facial hair or a second mask underneath. I lean facial hair.

I can't help but feel the porch guy perp has a bit of a "dad bod".

He doesn't look super fit or athletic. He doesn't look like he'd be climbing over fences or running far.

MOO.

I agree the perspective is off depending on where the person is. The reason I, personally, think more than one layer of gloves is how they fit his hands, not the size. Either these are the super thick type of whatever plasticky looking gloves (similar to these WORKSafe® NEOCHEM NEOPRENE GLOVES - WORKSafe) or there is another glove underneath because you don't see the outline of the knuckles well. Put on a pair of lightweight work gloves or vinyl gloves and you can see the definitive knuckle line. When the hand is made into a semi fist to do whatever at the camera,, it appears that the hand cannot tighten up more,, indicating either bulk stopping it,, or the inability to make a full fist.. The fingers of the gloves are baggy, so bigger than the hands. Makes it more difficult to manipulate anything if gloves don't fit right.

Agree and it appears very bulky at outside edge of palm.

I don't think it's a belt, I think it's the gun holster?

Definitely things in his pant pockets. Can even see something in his left front pocket in your one pic.

I used green to show it.

The black mouth is just weird, right? I don't think it's facial hair either. I did wonder if it was something to do with the bite light, or whatever type of light is being used in his mouth.

The eye holes... I think it is the stitching around the eyes of the mask. What a lot see as 'eyebrows', I see it as either a shadow or another thinner mask under it, which might be why the mouth looks so weird too at certain angles.

I think you could be right about it being the holster. Good catch.

I am wondering if it isn’t another thinner mask underneath as well. Look at the dark line on the pic below. I can’t figure out what that is.

And do we think that the facial hair is dark? If it’s a mask or not?

Keys poking in pocket? He's definitely bottom heavy..butt and thighs. That's not all padding. imo. Great post Missy1974!

Yea maybe we brainstorm about what could be in his pocket. Why not put that in your backpack? Because he needs quick access to it would be my guess. To be used immediately to subdue. Or to be used to help gain access to home. But it’s definitely bulky.
