It's amazing how far a child can go in about 2,5 hours. An eigh-year-old boy in Göteborg was noticed missing at about 11 a.m., and the police began searching for him, at foot and with helicopter, around the school, and there were also sent out information and a photo to the local newspapers on the internet. At 1.25 p.m., the police got a call from an observant citizen who had seen the boy at the Göteborg Opera, more than 8 km from the boy's school, and the police was able to pick the boy up and transport him home. It's quite a distance for him to go, and he must have taken a bus, or two, and possible a tram, to get there, a trip that would take at least 30 - 45 minutes. Luckily he got home safe, and it shows how far a child can travel, and how clever they can be, when they want to do something adventurous.
