On the 20th of June 2022 the remains of a possibly black female were found in the terrain near an interchange in Kungsängen, north of Stockholm, Sweden.
The police believe that the female had been dead for a couple of days before she was found by the public. The woman is believed to have been in her 40-50's, with black wavy hair of "middle length". She had a few grey hair strands.

The female was about 5'1" (152 cm) and 158 pounds (72 kgs).

The message from the Swedish police (Contains photographs and an animated photo of the woman. The animated photo of the woman is based on the police actual photographs. This image seems like it is not allowed to share outside their website).

The police says she does not seem to be of northern European origin, and she has light brown to brown skin. At the time of death, she wore a light green or light blue blouse or dress. It has got black embroidery on it.

The police is looking for information about this woman, her whereabouts and information about her blouse/dress.

What? Then what's the point of releasing it to the public?
Oops, I missed that part. I just saw that the image of how they think she would have looked alive, that it was not allowed to spread it.
They seem to have started to do this recently - it prevents people from sharing images on Facebook etc. Probably not a good idea if you want people to recognize someone! Not everyone cares to click on a link unless they are actually missing someone. In this case this woman might be brought to Sweden, so she might not be missing in Sweden but in the US or another part of the world.

I read about this case a while ago in Swedish newspapers, I don’t have much to offer really..but I hope that she will have her name back someone has to know her.
I live in Stockholm, but haven’t heard news about her or pleas to recognise her recently.

A redditer posted links about this Swedish Jane Doe case. I don't know Swedish so I just used the translate option. Here is the reddit information. (I don't want to take credit for their work.)

In June 2022, a dead woman was found at E18 in Kungsängen. She is still unknown and buried in Kungsängen cemetery. Now Aftonbladet reports that a Mexican radio station is raising the case to find relatives.

The woman was born in Central America and has lived at least her first years of life there.

It was around 2 p.m. on June 20 that the police received the alarm. A woman had been found dead.

On Monday, a dead person was found outside in Kungsängen in Upplands-bro municipality and a preliminary investigation into murder began. On Tuesday, police said the deceased was a woman.

She looks of African descent to me, if she was indeed from Central America (I doubt it because I believe they did isotope analysis and that is not reliable), she was from a place with a substantial Afro-Latin population. I know Panama has and also Mexico (but the country is so huge it is overlooked) and the Dominican Republic. Also Cuba.
There is a lot of trafficking of Caribbean women to Europe, mainly for Sexwork. I really hope she gets her name back and justice is served. Very sweet face, whoever she was, she did not deserve to die so young and stay unidentified.

There are English speaking Afro latino areas in Central America. Bluefields and Puerto Cabezas are some examples. She looks Central American to me.

The official language of Nicaragua is Spanish; however, Nicaraguans on the Caribbean coast speak indigenous languages and also English.

Bluefields is home to a large black settlement on the east coast of Nicaragua and is strongly associated with Black Creole culture.

I wish they can do some FGG and pinpoint which community or area she came from. Creole communities tend to be genetically pretty distinct.
But since the origin is likely a result of isotope analysis, id take everything with a big grain of salt

Polisen släpper bild – vem är den mördade kvinnan? this article says that the original composite image wasn't very accurate, hence why the postmortem derived reconstruction was released. IMO she looks Central American without any African heritage in that recon.

The Reddit post says that part of the reason they think she's from Central America (probably Mexico) is due to her dental work, but I haven't been able to find any articles mentioning this- All I can find is that her partial denture wasn't done in Sweden.

Hard to determine her actual features, the postmortem based recon may show her bloated, discolored face and the weird angle may distort the appearance even more.
Hard to tell whether she looks fully Native/CE or African/African - Latin admixed.
