VF - Father about son’s disappearance “ don’t think we will get an answer”
Thursday morning 20 October 2011 Niklas leaves his apartment in Karlstad, where he was attending university. He biked the short distance of barely 7 km to the train station, and alighted a train heading towards Oslo, Norway. He had continued his journey from Oslo to Halden. He was last seen at a shop on the Swedish side of Svinesundsbron, a bridge connecting Sweden and Norway from Halden.
Niklas’ family are certain they won’t get any answers to what happened to Niklas. They believe he might have decided to end his life. Police is still classifying his disappearance as murder.
