Interesting that its SDNY and Florida Involved

Three Florida brothers have been charged with sex trafficking for alleged incidents dating back more than a decade, court papers show.

Alon Alexander and Oren Alexander, 37-year-old twins, and their brother Tal Alexander, 38, were charged in a federal indictment obtained by PEOPLE. All three, who primarily live in New York and Florida, were arrested in Miami, Fla., on Wednesday, Dec. 11, the Southern District of New York said in a statement.

Alon and Tal are real estate moguls in Florida, with their luxury real estate businesses encompassing both Florida and New York State, according to the indictment. Oren is an executive at his family's private security firm.

The vibes I'm getting are this may have been connected to something bigger.

Tal and Oren have been a part of several real estate deals involving celebrities and other high-profile names. According to Forbes, they sold a Miami penthouse to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in 2018 and have represented billionaire Leon Black, fashion mogul Steve Madden and designer Tommy Hilfinger

Officials from the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York held a news conference Wednesdayto announce the charges. They said the brothers ran a sex trafficking scheme and allegedly assaulted dozens of women between 2010 and 2021, dating back to when the men were in high school, in some cases.

"The defendants used their wealth and positions to create and facilitate opportunities to sexually assault women," U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Damian Williams announced. "In particular, Oren and Tal Alexander used their prominent positions in the real estate industry to induce women to come to events and parties. At those parties, and sometimes afterwards, the women were sexually assaulted by one or more of the defendants."

The brothers typically met their victims on dating apps, through social events and at bars and nightclubs, but they also used party promoters to “source” women, according to Williams.

He added that the women were often provided drugs, including cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms and GHB. The brothers even surreptitiously drugged some of the women’s drinks, leaving them physically impaired and unable to fight back or escape from the sexual assaults, prosecutors said in their indictment.

Same feeling; the timing in interesting. The first rape case was dropped when they were in Krop high school, so they have been known to do it for long. Honestly, the first thought I had on reading about the arrests was, they didn't learn from high school.

Some news reports state the brothers are out on bail. I believe now that they all face federal charges, they are being detained and will be transferred to US Southern District Court of NY Federal Court to face those charges. IMO

Tal, Oren, and Alon are Israeli names, but the Tal I know is a woman, and I know of an Oren family as the last name.

Tali is a popular female name. Tal can be female and male, but it is in the Bible, too.
I doubt that escaping to Israel is feasible for them. There is such a long story of predatory behavior, that they can't claim persecution. It may morph into a big case because it could potentially involve the school they went to, and the judge in Florida who dropped the first case (he is dead now, but still.)

Today from GMA/ABC news. These guys had everything. Some things are just inexplicable and beyond understanding.
