BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. - After a girl got sick in the bathroom of her kindergarten class, the teacher made her don rubber gloves and manually remove a clog from the toilet, according to a lawsuit filed by the girl's mother.

Lori Januska sued Bonita Springs Charter School this week after she said her 5-year-old daughter, Heather, clogged the toilet Sept. 22 and her teacher made her remove the clog as the entire class watched.

I'd sue too! A child should not be treated this way...especially by a teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad:
I had an abusive teacher (4th grade), she was so cruel that I ended
up before the school psych. and had to get transferred to a "troubled
kids" class. (I had quit talking.)

These people don't, they just can't possibly understand the damage they
can do to these children. :(

Oops, I'd better get off soon.lol. DH behind me says he's gonna shoot the computer. (He's kidding, of course---well he'd better be,lol. It's MY computer.;))

Bye y'all, have a great day.
love ya,

Ariel :)

:furious: This makes me so angry. :furious: :furious: You send your children off to school and have no control over what happens wile they are there.
This "Teacher" (and I use that term lightly) is nothing but an abusive bully!!
I'm all for cameras in the classrooms, so I can log on wile my daughter is there and see that she is safe and being treated with respect and care.

WHy am I not surprised that yet again its Florida??

CinGirl... just be aware ... volunteer a lot!
DO spot checks.. they try to tell you that you can't but learn the law and do so anyhow.

Florida schools aren't exactly up to par but most children have a good experience.
Just stay in contact as much as you can.

In all fairness there are many Florida educators who are wonderful we just don't hear of them as much.

I have a kindergartener myself and I just cant imagine making her unclog a toilet!!!!! No excuse for this!!! That teacher needs to be un-employed ASAP!!!!!!

This is just another reminder of why my children do not go to public school!!!!!!!!!
