Technical Difficulties

We are having difficulty adding new members when another member has left the conversation.

The conversation still shows the member who left and won't let us add another.

There is room now to add the new person but it won't let us.

Would someone help us with this?

@Tricia - is there a "tech person" who we could ask?

Hi,
Here is a moderator’s best attempt to answer the question above:
When a member "Leaves" the conversation, they have 2 options ... Accept Future Messages or Ignore Future Messages. Most members would likely choose to Accept Future Messages, in which case they would still show as being part of the group of 20, so no room for any new members. If they choose Ignore Future Messages, they are out of the loop and can no longer access the group and that would make room for a new member.

Let us know if this solves the problem

For ad pop up troubles for iPhone users (the problem had gotten out of hand for me over the last week or two), I downloaded the Duck Duck Go browser app (it’s free) and it’s a dream. The video pop ups are totally gone, and the videos at the top of the page have vanished as an added bonus. Highly recommend!!

I’ve looked all around the site but can’t find the correct page, I’m sure it is not this but maybe you can direct me to the right place please?
When I have a private conversation, I get an email each time someone posts a reply and I want to stop this happening as it’s clogging up my internet In box with hundreds of replies. Do you know where I can sort this ? Many thanks in anticipation x

I hope that you are well.
I am just wondering if you could amend the title on my VI status. I ask because Whitehall 1212 and I are in contact off threads and he is/was primarily a uniformed officer and SAR whereas I am/was Uniform for 5 years then CID for the next 23 years where I was ultimately in charge of the CID and all the Detectives within PLUS a Senior investigative Officer or SIO for short , leading investigations into Missing people and suspicious deaths and Murder/Kidnap/Abduction etc
So now that Whitehall is verified LE and SAR would it be possible to amend my title to Verified LE and Senior Investigate Officer (SIO) England ?

The reasons are that sometimes people wonder why they get differing responses from LE perspectives but I try and explain that we come at it from two different angles and he may have more recent experience “ on the streets “ as it were whereas I’m looking at it from an “ on the streets and management and lead investigator perspective. It would be appreciated and would assist when I am explaining the confusion. Many thanks , Angleterre ( JR )
