Teen Charged After Running Friend Over 'For Fun'

(CBS) CHESTERTON, Ind. An Indiana teenager is in the hospital days after asking a friend to run over him with a car "for fun." . . .


People who know the teens say they've heard they've done this before. And now, we're told one of them is struggling to avoid losing his leg after being severely injured in the crash. . . .

Stephen Domonkos, 18, is charged with criminal recklessness. Police say Domonkos told them his friend, 17-year-old Michael Morris, asked to be hit.

Domonkos had driven around the back of the building so he could pick up speed, he told police. Morris' body hit the front of the car and then shattered the windshield. When Domonkos hit the brakes, Morris rolled down the hood and back to the ground. . . .
