A shooting occurred in the cafeteria of Antioch High School in Nashville, Tennessee just after 11 AM. The shooter, a 17-year-old student, fired multiple shots killing a student and severely wounding another. The shooter committed suicide shortly thereafter. The school is under lockdown as police investigate.

He live streamed the shooting on a social media site. He posted a message on his IG account the night before, stating what he was planning to do. I just don't understand why his post wasn't reported. He posted his manifesto on a social media site as well, but that has been locked by law enforcement. In the manifesto, he claims he hasn't been bullied but some of his other claims are chilling. The video and some photos from the scene are horrific.

My heart goes out to the family of the young lady who lost her life so tragically.

The perpetrator, Solomon Henderson

He was into Neo-Nazi and incel content online. Henderson lists far-right commentators such as Nick Fuentes and Ethan Ralph as his biggest inspirations as well as others who espouse white nationalist views. He was a believer in the white supremacist Great Replacement theory. Really weird since Henderson's Black which makes me think he had a case of self hatred.

Henderson planned to kill at least 10 people, including an elementary school teacher who he specifically targeted.

he was a member of the school's ROTC program. He was said to intelligent, quiet and kept to himself. Per the PD he may have been involved in one prior incident at school (no other details provided about that). He livestreamed the event. an X (formerly Twitter) post indicated he had saved up for a Go-Pro but didn't get it because he had a hard time explaining to his parents what exactly he wanted it for.
