I watched 20/20 last night. Watch it on the internet if you did not see it. The second half of the show was SHOCKING. A scorned woman who had her ex arrested three times. She f---ed up her own face and told the police her ex did it. She got a restraining order. She used phone spoofing and voice manipulation to make it appear he was violating the order. She was just getting started. I remember posters talking about phone spoofing. Made me wonder if killer used voice manipulation when he called Amanda? Hopefully he was careless and drunk.

Woman kills attacker with his gun, unknowingly takes out a serial killer

Here are a few highlights from a great story I read this morning!!!

This happened abt 10 days ago.

When Falls began to strangle her, she said, she reached for a nearby rake. Falls put down his gun to try and wrestle the rake out of her hands—that's when she grabbed the gun and shot him. Falls died from the gunshot wound, and she ran outside to get help.

When police arrived, they found an extensive "kill kit" in the trunk of Falls's Subaru. In the trunk were knives, a shovel, a machete, several axes, a sledgehammer, a pair of hiking boots covered in dirt, trash bags, and cleaning supplies.




In Falls's pocket, said police, they found a list of names of future targets: all sex workers who advertised on Backpage.

"He made a deal with the victim to exchange money for her services as an escort," Cooper said. "He brought no money with him. What he brought with his was a firearm, four sets of handcuffs, and all of the items you have photos of from the trunk of his car. So... clearly his intentions were dark."

I've been spending a lot to time re-reading some of our old threads, and I have to say that, while there has been some amazing sleuthing done over the years , there has also been a LOT of theories that just get so far into the weeds that it cracks me up.

One of my favorite "weed whackers " stemmed from the fact that LISK told Amanda he was going to "watch Shannan rot ". Suddenly several posters were sleuthing duck hunters and duck clubs and Lord only knows what else. And it went on forever. Of course LISK watched these bodies rot...he drove past them every day. You don't have to belong to a hunt club to do that, you just need a car. LOL !

And speaking of cars...what about the theory that he kept his victims alive, somewhere , for a long time before he killed them ? That one got into the weeds too, with absolutely no evidence to back the theory up. And yet almost no one pointed out the most obvious theory...that LISK picks his victim up in his car, kills them in his car, and then dumps them on the side of the road. Too simple and straight forward of a theory, I guess. Doesn't have that "wow" factor.

Oh wait...he's a torso killer (whatever TF that is ) ! No wait...he's a cop ! Better yet, he's the rehab doctor who recently sold his house ! I mean...HE SOLD HIS HOUSE ! C'MON ! That's suspicious as hell ! LOLOLOL.

Where are the theories that LISK worked for the park service and drove an official vehicle ? Who would suspect a park service vehicle pulled off the side of the road ? Again, too simple of a theory. Nope...it must have been James Bissett because HE KILLED HIMSELF ! How suspicious is THAT ?! Let's sleuth Bissett for 20 pages. LOL !

And what about PB ?! HE PAINTED THAT SKULL MURAL ! THAT CAN'T BE A COINCIDENCE !

No offense intended to anyone, it's just that having to wade through endless pages of this stuff 10 years later , it just strikes me as hilarious to watch WSers jump down all these rabbit holes.
