A 15-year-old girl celebrating her traditional coming-of-age party in Wellington said Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office deputies ruined her gathering when they hit her guests with pepper spray and shocked several of them with Tasers.

Deputies said they responded to a complaint about a fight at the party shortly after midnight Saturday and had no choice but to protect themselves.
