If John tried to untie her "tight" wrist ligatures based on his police statements, then why his DNA could not be located on the cord???

dcountmontecristo,
Good question. The thing is lots of the test resultshavenever been made public, e.g. was Burke's dna found on JonBenet, if so where?

They nailed JR for his shirt fibers, and Patsy for her fibers embedded into the knotting of the ligature and on the underside of the duct tape on JonBenet's mouth.

Yet other than Burke's touch-DNA being reported as found on the the Pink Barbie Nightgown, which guess what, should not be there as JonBenet went to bed wearing her White Gap Top!

So there is unseen forensic evidence locked away in some evidence-cage in a depository located in Colorado!

My guess is once John leaves us this will all seep out slowly for public consumption as the retiring detectives might wish to supplement their pensions with media interviews, etc.
