The remains of a man were found in the river Waal near Druten.
He was possibly 60 years old, or presumably between 50 and 70 years old. His atlas (neck vertebra) had grown attached to the head, presumably the man walked with a stiff neck, but this is unsure. Also, considering the very poor condition of his teeth and the wearing of double clothing, he could be a homeless person/elderly addict. This person in question then had never been reported missing.
Detail: The man was carrying a ballpoint pen with the inscription of the Red Cross in Datteln Germany. Enquiries to the Red Cross there remained without result.
Height: 168 cm
Face: round with mustache, bald forehead
Hair: long, 15 cm
Body: several scars
Clothing: turtleneck with Norwegian print in beige and blue brand Burgundy, blue jeans with Mc Phanton, brown leather belt, 3/4 green army parka with hood lined with faux fur size 52, green short jacket brand Rik San size 50
Shoes: blue sneakers, brand 707 star, approx. size 42
Underwear: white and blue striped underpants, brown long underpants, sleeveless undershirt with R or A.
