Our Zoom meeting with Dr. Ramsland was amazing ! Our next book we are reading is, “Wolves In Sheep’s Clothing “ By Mike R King. You may know Mike from “ Profiling Evil”.

This book will take us into the psychology of predators. It goes into how predators select their victims and much more !! Real life case’s are explored in this book which will help answer some of our most burning questions.

A link to the book is posted below, it is available on Audible and it’s free with a Kindle membership. If you have any questions or any problems getting the book monetary or otherwise. Or if you would like to join the book club. Just email Stacy at; [email protected]

Link to the book on Amazon;

Happy Reading !!!

Hey SnarkyTreeHugger.
I have started the book but I am jumping around because each chapter is so flipping (that's how we swear in Utah) fascinating. I've jumped to chapter 15 the Nature vs Nurture Debate on page 237. I can't read this book fast enough. Oh My Heck the information Mike King gives us is AMAZING.
Tonight at 8 PM Eastern on a special edition of Websleuths YouTube LIVE we are asking for people's theories on Nancy Guthrie then we are going to discuss this book for a bit. Hope you will join us.

I’m only on chapter 3, but I’ve enjoyed the book so far. His set up of defining and explaining concepts then using real cases as exemplars really feeds into my academic nerdiness. I was a little surprised at the inclusion of “accused” murderers, like Luigi Mangione, since they are technically presumed innocent.

As a healthcare professional, I have a basic understanding of psychology. Some of the discussion surrounding cognitive dissonance reminded me of Erikson’s Psychosocial Stages of Development, and the internal conflict one goes through during various points in life. I might argue that some murderers are unable to resolve these early conflicts in life - like trust v mistrust or had some kind of insult during their development that hindered their ability to develop empathy. I’m sure I’ll read more about it in the nature vs nurture chapter!
