I'm not sure if this is the right place to post.
I was wondering how many of the unclaimed Jane and John Does were actually missing children. So the scenario would be that they've been abducted as a child under whatever circumstances but years ahead when they've gone missing again and turned up as a Jane/John the abductor/s haven't come forward in case a DNA match is asked for to prove that they're related and the original parents obviously wouldn't know exactly what their missing child looked like in later years.
Anyway, just something I was thinking about.
