This furniture store lost $7 MILLION on the Super Bowl, and they didn’t even buy an ad

Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale picked the wrong team when he decided to use the Super Bowl for his furniture store promotion. Due to his unlucky choice, he now has to pay back around seven million dollars to customers....

Supposedly the pick was done by coin toss. :floorlaugh:

:seeya: $7 million.

The guy has a great attitude about it though.

Whoa. Lots of math problems with this story. How much did each of the 100 customers spend? If this represents 80% of the customers, the store is in serious trouble. Where does the $7 million figure fit in?

The numbers aren't adding up.

customers had to buy at least $6,000 worth of furniture to qualify for the promotion. Gallery Furniture is pretty expensive as it is.....lol
