Why would DP have anything to gain? I have to disagree.

It sounds more to me like another Attorney's stab at his fifteen minutes and a guy that wants a chance at some fast cash at the expense of Bolingbrook PD. I don't for a minute think DP's camp is behind it. It would be a stupid move on their part for starters since DP has pissed off everyone at BPD and they are conducting an internal investigation on him as it is. It would add more fuel to that fire.

Drew would gain in court by being able to say that due to this lawsuit people in the public could not be viewed to give a reliable opinion of him..change in venue..and that others in his cases involving Stacy and Kathleen might be unreliable for the same reason..their own 15 minutes of fame. That people are prone to jumoing on the bandwagon and therefore testimony may be unreliable due to the national coverage this case has gained..ie Ric Mimms.

I don't see that happening in any way, shape, or form. The case of the broken thumb won't go towards Stacy's case or the jury pool.
