Lindsee Louise Leonardo, 32, is also charged with two counts of aggravated child abuse in the death of her son, Aiden Leonardo. The boy, who was found unresponsive in the tub Wednesday night, died Friday morning,
Leonardo told investigators she left Aiden and his 23-month-old sister alone in the tub so she could have some “me time.” She walked away for about 10 minutes.
During that time, she smoked a cigarette and listened to some music on her cellphone, a warrant states.
When she returned to the bathroom, Aiden was floating in the water and not breathing.
His sister, Sophia Leonardo, was not hurt. She is in the custody of grandparents.
