Search for missing 75-year-old Tennessee woman extends to another state

The Benton County Sheriff’s Office said Wednesday that the search for missing 75-year-old Camden woman Alma Fowler has extended to more Tennessee counties and even another state.

Alma Fowler went missing from Camden on Feb. 12. She has gray hair and brown eyes, weighs about 110 pounds and is 4′11″. Police said she was last seen near Herrington Road in Camden wearing a green puffy jacket, tan jeans, white snow boots and a white headband.

She was last seen at Herrington Place in Camden, the assisted living facility where she was a resident. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) issued a Silver Alert for Fowler on February 12. Multiple agencies have joined Benton County officials in the search for Fowler.

The sheriff said authorities have searched 550 acres around Herrington Place

Fowler is 4 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and was last seen wearing a green sweater and brown pants. She is of Filipino descent. She is non-verbal and may not be able to respond with anything other than “yes” or “no.” Due to being off her medications for an extended period, she may also be experiencing hallucinations.

She has connections to Mayfield, Kentucky, where she previously lived. Authorities believe she is traveling on foot.
