According to a store owner, Ann is one of her customers and has lots of experience with the outdoors. She knows these parks and trails very well too which is making me think a freak accident happened.

I checked the NOAA radar for the 28th and 29th. Looked clear over the whole area. I hope they find her, she's pretty thin, probably just how she is built (My Mom, who was an athlete all her life, was always that thin) but it gives you a much greater risk of hypothermia, assuming a fall or some other kind of unexpected accident.

I've camped at Smokemont, I'm worried about her with all the creeks and getting hypothermia. She could have cracked through some ice and not even known she was on a wetland.
