It has been almost a month since Dr. Arthur Lee went missing. He was last seen February 20th. The last media acknowledgement I can find is from March 3rd.

Did he let anyone know where he was going?

Was he out doing geological research?

Did he have medical issues?

A body has been found in Melton Lake.

Oak Ridge Police Department officers and Oak Ridge Firefighters responded to reports of a body in Melton Lake near Calhoun’s around 100 Melton Lake Peninsula Saturday morning, according to a report from the department.

The body was located around 9:15 a.m., but has not been identified yet. The body was transferred to the Knox County Reginal Forensic Center where officials will perform an autopsy, the report said.

BODY IN MELTON HILL LAKE IDENTIFIED AS MISSING ROANE STATE PROFESSOR

On Tuesday, they said the body was identified as Arthur C. Lee, a Roane State Community College geology professor who was reported missing on Feb. 22.

They also said that foul play was not suspected in his death.

They said the body was found in the water near 100 Melton Lake Peninsula.
