The Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance locating a missing person. Charles Bradford Carpenter (Brad) was last seen according to the family between November and December of 2018. Brad is known to move around staying with different people and would usually stay in contact with his mother. Brad’s lack of contact with family members has raised concern about his wellbeing. Charles Bradford Carpenter is 42 years of age, 5’11” tall, 220 pounds, Brown eyes and gray hair.

Remains found in Whitesburg identified

The remains found by a farmhand in a Whitesburg field earlier this month have been positively identified, according to Hamblen County Coroner Eddie Davis.

Charles Bradford Carpenter, 42, was last seen in December of 2018, according to the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Department.
