The Murfreesboro Police Department's is seeking the public's help in locating a missing and endangered person 19-year old male. Chase Dean Nelson walked away from St Thomas Rutherford E.R. during mental evaluation on Monday (3/26/2018). He is under current committal paperwork for evaluation and should be returned to St. Thomas Rutherford.

The 5-foot, 11-inches tall white male has pink hair, many tattoos, on both forearms and chest and weighs about 150 pounds.

Police say that he may possibly be in a 2011 White 4 Door Toyota Corolla with Tennessee license tag S42-18V.

Chase Dean Nelson is entered NCIC as a Missing Person. Subject is under current committal paperwork for evaluation and should be returned to St. Thomas Rutherford.

For committal paperwork he is either a threat to himself or others. I can see this hospital from my house and I'm an RN. I hope this was written up as a sentinel event, this needs significant investigation as he should not have been able to walk out of the emergency department. I hope he is found soon and safely.

An update to a missing person from Murfreesboro. Nineteen year old Chase Dean Nelson has been located by Murfreesboro Police. According to authorities, he walked away from St Thomas Rutherford E.R. during mental evaluation on Monday (3/26/2018).
