Circumstances of Disappearance:
He had set up camp near the North Street bridge in Newport close to his employer. He was last seen alive on 6-11-22 when he was given a ride by a Facebook friend which allegedly dropped him off at Hippie's Garage on Carson Springs Road.

There are some similarities here, though the ages don't match, it's not too far off. Location where UP found is 48 minutes from the location where this person went missing. Can someone please take a look and see if you agree with the possibility? NamUs #UP96318

I agree that date, location, height
do match. But the ME thought the UID was older (could be an error...)

UP96318 has some distinctive clothing items, I think. (Bracelets, lanyard, necklace, Atlanta braves/Vancouver Grizzlies gear)... Joseph's closest relatives friends might be able to say if they sound like things he'd wear.

I agree they should be compared as potential matches, if they haven't been already.

MP has no exclusions listed yet. I also checked the UID and he is not listed as an exclusion.

Bumping case up. It needs some attention as this man is still listed in NamUs as missing.
I can't find anything new from MSM/LE regarding his case.

ETA: UP96318 has been identified/removed from NamUs in 2024...
