Circumstances of Disappearance
Joshua Brian Bohannon‘s wife said she left him at a house that belonged to Burgess Falls State Park.

The park rangers said they never saw him only her when they approached her at the location.

There has been no further contact with him since.

Bohannon's family is offering a reward for information that leads to locating him.

Located on the Falling Water River, this day-use park is noted for its natural beauty and four waterfalls that cascade down from over 250 feet in elevation. The last of these falls is the most spectacular, plunging more than 130 feet into the gorge.

This is concerning - he has children who need him, he doesn't have his needed insulin, his social media indicates health issues, possibly a lack of support, and financial challenges. All in my opinion only.

First questions are:
Why were they at the State Park?
Why did his wife leave him at the house in the Park?
Why did the Park rangers approach his wife there?
What happened next?

Last arrest I could find, use and sale of drugs/controlled substances. (you have to wait while the mugshots scroll through to see his photo). Overton County Mugshots 12/31/20 | Upper Cumberland Reporter Another mugshot from earlier in 2020. Clay County Mugshots 1/28/20 | Upper Cumberland Reporter Another for criminal tresspass. Joshua Bohannon booked on Criminal Trespassing Any of these could put him with company that could lead to foul play. I do hope he is found safely.

Cookeville man missing for months, officials still searching

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office is asking for assistance in finding Joshua Brian Bohannon, who was last seen on June 3 of this year, according to officials.

Bohannon was last known to be wearing a black Reebok hoodie, black Under Armour sweatpants, black and white Nike shoes and a black ball cap.
