Circumstances of Disappearance:
Wade was reported missing from Guys, Tennessee by his son on July 10, 2008. He stated he had not seen his father in several years and had not heard from him since June 1, 1994. Few details are available regarding Wade's disappearance and his whereabouts remain unknown.

The disappearances of Larry Wade and Cathy Black. Guys, TN Selmer, TN, and Savannah, TN, please help. Many say that their cases are connected.

Larry Wade was last seen by his son on June 1st, 1994. He would have been 44 years old at the time and described as 5' 11", 185 lbs with black hair and brown eyes. His scars are right wrist and one on his right forearm. Some say he is missing from Guys, others say he went missing from Selmer.

His son reported him missing to the McNairy County Sheriff's Office on October 7th, 2008.

Cathy Laverne Black went missing from Savannah, TN, around the same time. She was last seen leaving the Ryan Street Apartments.

At some point, she worked at Brown Shoe.

Her son reached out a few days ago to ask for help finding her or for information about what happened to her. Her daughter has also now reached out.

Cathy's case is not documented online; she is not listed in Namus, and it appears no report may have been taken for her.

So far, everything I have gathered from those who have spoken indicates that Larry and Cathy went missing around the same time and that they were friends.

Cathy's children are looking for closure and while I have not heard from Larry's family I am going to assume by the fact that his son reported him missing that they would also like closure.
