The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office says Angela Michelle Palacio passed away from her injuries after being flown to a Nashville hospital with third-degree burns.
This all stems from an incident Tuesday afternoon in the 1800 block of Eldridge Road in Soddy Daisy, where investigators say 39-year-old Christopher Alan Medula doused Palacio in gasoline and used a cigarette lighter to set her on fire inside a camper.
