Father arrested in connection to infant son's critical injuries

The baby, now in the intensive care unit at Vanderbilt Medical Center, suffered broken bones and brain swelling. McClain is under investigation by the Department of Children's Services.

The baby, Robert, was initially taken to DeKalb County Hospital but was LifeFlighted to Vanderbilt.

McClain's twin sister Miranda spoke with News4 early Monday evening.

"I have no love for anyone who is willing to do that. I just don't. All of my feelings for him are gone," Miranda said. "All I care about is that poor defenseless child who does not deserve that."

Miranda set up a GoFundMe account for the baby, Robert, and has a goal of raising $5,000. Click here to view ....."

Just a heads to anyone like me.... The Father's sister has posted photos of the injured baby in the hospital on her Facebook page. My son was shaken by his dad when he was just a few months old and the pictures on the Facebook gave me a little PTSD flashback. So just be aware before clicking that it can be hard to see.
