Black was reported missing on Oct. 25 by her sister when she hadn’t heard from her since Oct. 18. She was last seen at her residence on Lillian Drive. Black is described as a 41-year-old, 5 foot 7, white female that weighs around 185 pounds.

She has brown hair and hazel eyes. No clothing description was provided. Black could be in a 2014 White Ford Explorer with a Tennessee tag (BHG-7422).

The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating a missing 41-year-old woman. Melissa Black was reported missing by her sister on Oct. 25, who stated that she hadn’t heard from her since October 18th.

1 week is a long time for something to go afoul.

I am assuming no spouse or kids since the sister is the one who missed her first. I would like to hear from LE on that. I am sure we will. I wonder where she worked and why they didn't report her. If she didn't work, she had to have some means of support like a spouse unless she was disabled. IMO

I suppose maybe she went missing closer to the 25th, so work had not had time to miss her yet.

Hope she is found safe and soon!

Assuming Melissa had a vehicle -- is her vehicle at her home? Any lights on in the house?
Pets that haven't been fed?
Is she friends with anyone in her neighborhood?
Has LE or anyone gone into her home to see if she is there, possibly wounded or worse?
Does/did she have a partner? Living alone (I assume)? At 41 years, she could have grown child(ren) who do not live with her (I'm assuming she does not).
Does she have an ex?
Is her sister close by? Does she have a key to her house? (I'm assuming the sister is not near.)
And as @caribou_birdie said above, is she employed? Working at home or in an office?
Does her job require that she go out of town from time to time?
Any health issues?
Hoping that she is all right and perhaps just on a vacation.
