None of the personal items had any identifying characteristics.

Do you think this means that there was nothing identifiable to determine what the personal items were, or that there was nothing on the personal items that would identify this young man?

I think it means there was nothing that identified him. I wish they listed what the personal items were though, extra detail is always helpful and maybe someone who knew him would recognize them.

His personal belongings could also determine a time frame for his death.

BrownBear, yes, I agree and that is why I was asking - Thanks!

Wondering if the remains were actually found in Memphis near Summer Ave and the Wolf River area. The road only crosses the Loosahatchie much farther out to the east away from Memphis. That's actually within Arlington TN, not Memphis, and it's not typically called Summer Ave. out there either. The GPS coordinates are no help in resolving this.

A reconstruction is badly needed for this case

Knox County has gotten funding to have Othram assist in identifying all of their John and Jane Doe’s. The rest of Tennessee should take note.

Bumping this thread. Maybe 2025 is the year this Doe is finally identified?
