When Rebecca Likens traveled the highway in the family sport-utility vehicle on June 4, she didn't realize she would have to make a split-second decision to avoid an oncoming car that veered in her lane

As with a lot of cases here, where we fear an accident, my question is this...Didn't the other car notice that she had to swerve out of the way?

The pictures are scarey but the cabin of the car looks intact. I would have kissed the ground after that.
