Search For Missing Man In Hickman County -

HICKMAN COUNTY, Tenn. –

Authorities are searching for a man that has been missing since he was allegedly caught trying to infiltrate a state prison late last year in Hickman County.

The Hickman County Sheriff's Office said they have opened a missing persons investigation on 39-year-old Ramsey Lamont Jacobs. On December 9, 2013, agents with the Tennessee Department of Correction had set up surveillance at Turney Center Industrial Complex in Coble after receiving information that Jacobs had been smuggling contraband into the prison. After catching Jacobs trying to breach the perimeter, they began chasing him on foot.
