Millersville police asking for help finding missing man

MILLERSVILLE, TN (WSMV) - Police are asking for your help finding a man reported missing in Millersville.

Robert Thomas Simmons Jr., 63, was last seen May 9 in the area of the Bethel Road Campground in Millersville.

Police said Simmons may be in need of medical attention.

Simmons is 6'3" with hazel eyes and gray hair. He weighs 255 pounds.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police at 615-859-2758.

Millersville Police and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are investigating skeletal remains that were found Saturday afternoon.

Police believe the remains are those of Robert Thomas Simmons, Jr., 63.

Simmons had been missing since May 9 and was last seen near the area where the remains were located.
