Police in Hendersonville are searching for a missing and endangered man who was last seen on Halloween night.

Tom Daniel Thompson was last seen around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police said family members believe they found an article of clothing belonging to Thompson near a riverbed in Drakes Creek.

The attached video is from an area hospital, taken just before Thompson disappeared. Police say Thompson left the hospital against medical advice.

The search is expected to resume at 8:00 a.m. Saturday.

Authorities in Hendersonville say they found at least three articles of clothing belonging to a man who went missing on Halloween.

On Saturday, the search, which began at 8 a.m., led authorities to Memorial Park where three articles of his clothing were found near the walking trails.

“We are still hopeful that Thompson walked out of the park and he will be found safe and sound,” police said in a press release.
