The following is a wonderful story of courage and determination by a couple whose 2 children were run down by a drunk driver -1/2 years ago; I've followed this story since it occurred. Read the following:
The Packs' story unfolded publicly, first with the death of the children, and soon after when they announced they had formed a foundation for traffic and child safety. They lobbied legislators for tougher DUI laws, and succeeded in helping to get them passed.
In 2004, they invited the community to share their joy when Carmen became pregnant with twin boys by in-vitro fertilization. And everyone shared the pain when Carmen lost them five months into her pregnancy.
Trying again, the couple became pregnant with Noelle by in-vitro fertilization.
