Monday, Nov. 24th:
*Sentencing Hearing (Miami-Dade County) (@ 11am ET) - FL – “Pillowcase Rapist” – *Unknown victim - *Robert Eugene Koehler aka Robert Eugene Koeholer (25 @ time of first crime/62/now 66) charged with (3/1/23) & arraigned (3/21/23) with armed burglary/assault, aggravated kidnapping/weapons & 2 counts of armed sexual battery. No Bond. Plead not guilty. Miami-Dade County
Trial began on 10/20/25 with jury selection & ended on 10/22/25 for a competency hearing on 10/23/25. Jury selection ended on 10/27/25.
Trial began on 10/28/25 & ended o 11/3/25 with a GUILTY verdict. Sentencing on 11/24/25.
Judge David H. Young & defense attorney Andrew Peters.
*5 victims (1984-1985, Pompano Beach, Broward County) - *Robert Eugene Koehler aka Robert Eugene Koeholer (25 @ time of first crime/62/now 66) charged (6/7/22) with 3 count of sexual battery with great force, 3 counts of armed sexual battery/victim under 12 yrs. in Broward County [on 2/4/84, 6/23/84, 7/23/84, 8/18/84, 8/29/84, 5/13/22]. Broward County
Will be tried after Miami-Dade case than in Broward County charges.
Defense attorneys Andrew Peters & Alexander Shear.

11/3/25 Monday, Trial Day 5: Jury found Koehler GUILTY on all charges. Sentencing hearing on 11/24/25 @ 11am. 11/3/25 Docket update: [210] Evidence received in vault Jury trial.
11/12/25 Docket update: [211] Motion to/for: Renewed Judgement of acquittal. [212] Response to/from: State's response to defendant's renewed Motion for judgement on acquittal. 11/19/25 Docket update: [213] Motion. State's sentencing memorandum & motion for upward departure E from Sentence. [214] Discovery Exhibit F presentence investigation report.
11/24/25 Docket update: [215] Closing before Judge David H. Young. [216] Case closed. [222] Court fee indigent. [223] Memorandum of costs amount $1760. [224] Court Fee indigent. [225] Stay Granted-due 11/24/75. [227] Appellant attorney Public Defender appointment. Judge Young sentenced Koehler to 4 life sentences.
*40 to 45 victims (May, 1981 to Feb. 1986, Miami to Deerfield Beach) - *Robert Eugene Koehler aka Robert Eugene Koeholer (22 @ time of 1st crime/60/now 65) – Found guilty (1/25/23) & sentenced on 3/17/23 to 17 years in prison.

I am quite unfamiliar with the trials forum/section of WS, so please bear with me.

In the case of Jasmine Wilmott (15, died by suicide in 2018. Her mother now manslaughter, due to her failing to provide a duty of care to Jasmine)

Would her trial be listed here in the November thread? Or will it be listed in the thread in Feb '26?

Thanks for opening a thread for Aurora90 - I too have no access to Australia court sites. I believe they justice system is like England & don't give much out to the public. I shall check it out & see if anyone else is posting on it & see if they can access the court sites.
