I got a notification from USGS shake alert to "take cover... hold on" at 10:44 am and felt a rolling motion almost immediately,

I have the "MyShake" app and it alerted as well. I didn't feel anything here though. I'm in Modoc County so at least 100 miles further east than you, maybe more.
