LIVE: Islamic State says it carried out Manchester suicide bombing

Young music fans are among the dead as police say one male suicide bomber detonated an improvised explosive device after the gig.

Here's what we know:

:: Police say 22 people have died and 59 people are injured after a suicide bombing at Manchester Arena

:: The first victims of the terror attack have been named as Georgina Callander, 18, and Saffie Rose Roussos, eight, and John Atkinson

:: The venue was hosting an Ariana Grande concert and the "loud bang" was heard just after the gig ended

:: Police believe they know the identity of the bomber and are looking at whether he was acting as part of a network

:: Islamic State has claimed one of its members carried out the explosion
