Here is an interesting possible match -

Partial remains located on January 26, 1982 in Bexar County, Texas.

87UFTX

http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/87uftx.html

UID Jane Doe profile indicates:
  • right leg longer than left leg, and therefore, she probably walked with a noticible limp

  • Estimated Age: 25-35

  • Estimated Height: 5'2 - 5'6"

  • Year of Discovery: 1982

Nellie Florence Cornman-Flickinger

http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/f/flickinger_nellie.html

  • Lived transient lifestyle

  • One leg shorter than other.

  • Age at time of disappearance: 30

  • Height: 5'3"

The profile indicates that Nellie had medical hardware in her leg. However, Jane Doe's remains were only partially recovered. Could it be that the unrecovered portions included the leg containing the hardware?

Upon researching Flickinger's case, i found that the remains of a woman in Colusa County California were seen as a strong possible match to Flickinger, but attempts to verify the identity through DNA testing were unsuccessful. This is not to say that the remains were not those of Flickinger, just that it couldn't be verified.

NO MATCH !!!!!Nellie Florence Cornman Flickinger, 1979, PA - Cold Case Investigations
