Beaumont Police searching for man and missing teen who may be with him

BEAUMONTT — From the Beaumont Police Department - Beaumont Police Investigators are searching for Scott Joseph Courville Jr, a 42 year old white male, 5’8, 180lbs with a brown Mohawk hair style, last seen wearing camo shorts, a blue or red polo type shirt, and military boots.

He has a missing 15 year white female with him, Abbie Marie Segien, white female, 6’1, 230lbs, last seen wearing a red Houston Rockets jersey, capri style blue jeans with yellow stripes down the side.

They are both on black mountain bikes.

They are possibly near the Plant Road area in Beaumont or the Hike and Bike trails.

Abbie's description is given as 6'1" 230 lb, but people who know her who are posting on the Beaumont Police FB page, say that is not even close to accurate. It is obvious from the above picture that she is not 230 lb.

Last seen date is not given.

Sounds like her weight is off. She seems long legged so the 6' 1" is believable. I'd say the weight is a typo tho. This could be an old photo and she's had a weight increase due to growth recently.

There have been some comments that the weight is correct. No telling how old that photo is though she doesn't look much younger than 15 in it (though at my age, everyone under 30 looks like a teenager).

Dad's FB has more info about that situation. Weird to me that fact is not mentioned in any MSM articles (that I've seen anyway).

Abbie Marie Segien, 15, who was thought to be with Scott Joseph Courville Jr., 42, has been found according to a Beaumont Police spokesperson.

Courville was booked in the Jefferson County Jail on Friday, according to jail records. His bonds are set at $10,000 for harboring a runaway and $75,000 for burglary of habitation,... [snip] This is a developing story. We will update with more if and when we receive more confirmed information.
