SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police need the public’s help to find a missing 97-year-old man last spotted in north downtown on Tuesday.

@GuyfromCanada here's some confusion for you!

I noticed the article says his name is Antonio Reyes but the flyer has Antonio Rodriguez. I'm not sure which is correct, but if you look up Antonio Rodriguez, there is a 97 year old missing from Evergreen Park, IL on May 2 with the exact same picture, etc.

And this same 97 year old man also went missing in San Francisco in December 2021 (this article says he struggles with dementia and disorientation):

Whew! The latest article says he's carrying multiple bags, so I figure he must be on the road again. Hopefully he's safe and can be helped before anything bad happens to him!

I know that dementia can be very challenging to contend with, but how is this person migrating to each of these cities and going missing??? I wonder if he has children in different places who rotate in taking care of and housing him.

Good news!! Given the confusion surrounding his case(s) I contacted San Antonio PD's MP Unit to inquire whether they were aware of his 2 May disappearance from Evergreen Park, IL. The officer I spoke with checked their records which show that he has been located after his 24 May disappearance. I hope all is well with Mr. Rodriguez.
