Interestingly, these remains were found around the same time and place as one of Henry Lucas’ victims, Frieda Powell. She was said to have gone missing in late 1982 but her remains not found until June 1983.

I’m trying to find any newspaper articles about this Doe but it’s difficult with so many articles about HLL having been published around this this time/place.

Hmm interesting. Whenever I see something about Becky Powell and HLL I'm so shocked he was allowed to marry a 15y/o. What do you think the connection is? It's a little strange there's so little information on a young boy.

I thought the information sounded familiar when I was searching and then saw the article about Becky and instantly remembered why. At first I wondered if these could be part of her remains (we’ve seen how older UID’s stats can be way off) but I don’t know how much of her remains were officially accounted for. I’ve read differing things and it’s hard to keep his “stories” straight!

Between where she was found and these remains were found is roughly 10 miles (give or take and depending upon his exact location). There may be no connection but the possibility is intriguing IMO. I wish knew more about this Doe.

Okay he's listed twice on the NCMEC map, with different ages (13-16/ 16-18) but the same NamUs number. wtf is going on. Where two sets of remains found? Are these possibly Corll victims or something?
