8-month-old baby found in Brownwood house during meth raid
An 8-month-old baby was found on Thursday morning during a drug raid on a Brownwood home.
About 7:45 a.m. on Thursday, the Brownwood Police Department and the Brown County Sheriff’s Office's SWAT Teams executed a search warrant and an arrest warrant on the 1700 block of Main Boulevard in Brownwood.
The SWAT Teams seized 13 grams of methamphetamine and 32 grams of high-quality marijuana.
Amy Beth Bailey, 49, was arrested on multiple charges, including manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, endangering a child and possession of marijuana.
“This residence is known to law enforcement and has been a source of numerous neighborhood complaints regarding illegal activity and narcotics trafficking,” said Brownwood Police Chief Terry Nichols.
