Babysitter charged after 1-year-old boy mauled to death by her pit bulls: ‘A tug-of-war for the baby’

Baby Jiryiah Johnson was attacked early Monday after babysitter Heather Rodriguez, 36, left him with her 13-year-old daughter and the three dogs in their home in Converse, Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar told reporters.

Yes, this poor 13-year-old was injured herself fighting off the dogs! Just awful. RIP baby Jiryiah.

LE let her keep these dogs after they surrounded someone in a car. (Maybe LE had no other choice legally?)
Anyway, she's liable for the dogs' actions, because she knew they were unpredictable, aggressive in a pack, and still chose to keep them. And bring children to her house with them! IMO.
