This was exposed when the younger boy came home without his backpack, and said that some older kids threw it out the window. He also said he was lured to the back of the bus and told that he was going to play a game, "And if you tell, you lose."

Not only is this youngster a victim, but the perpetrator almost certainly has been too, and so was anyone who witnessed it.

SMH. I've always thought that school buses should have a second adult on the bus to help with this sort of thing -- maybe some school systems have them.
What is that child going to do now? Get back on the same bus?
SMH.
More funding for schools -- including school busing, whether private buses or school-funded ones.
Fear, hurt, school studies and attendance problems, injuries, on & on.
Will we have to start putting police officers on school buses for our children to feel and to be safe while going to/from school?
