The Fort Worth Police Department is attempting to locate 17 year old Hailey Taylor and 15 year old Charlie Tidwell who went missing from the North Fort Worth/Keller area on May 20th, 2025. They were last seen on surveillance footage at DFW Airport Terminal B8 on May 21st, 2025. It is believed they were trying to travel out of state. Both were wearing all black clothing at the time of their disappearance.

The TSA doesn't require ID for minors to fly domestically but individual airlines may have their own policies. That being said, unless they planned ahead and bought tickets, getting a ticket on short notice out of DFW is expensive. For example, today, if I wanted to get to LAX it would be between $900 and $1400 if I walked up to the ticket counter to purchase one.

With the clothing choice, perhaps they were heading to some death metal concert or goth festival.

Amateur opinion and speculation

I wonder if they had tickets or were possibly trying to fly standby. Has there been any update on whether they successfully boarded a flight, or if any airline staff interacted with them? Also curious if either of them has access to money, fake IDs, or connections out of state that could help them travel undetected. Hoping they're found safe soon.

The parents have said they don't think they actually got on a flight. They lost track of their movements after that sighting on cameras at the airport. Hailey drained her bank account and her parents turned off her debit/credit cards which could have been used to track their movement.

Hmm.

Perhaps fake ID. LEO should be able to identify all the flights in that terminal and check the ages on a passenger manifest.

If they deliberately went into the airport to disappear, it is going to be much trickier, but also raises the alarming concern that some other party was giving them directions on how to disappear.

I wonder what makes them think they were possibly trying to travel out of state, besides being spotted on camera at the airport. Is there evidence of talking to someone online that claims to be from another state? Was there an event or something the girls wanted to attend but the parents weren't allowing?

I think they have to be going to a place where someone has offered them lodging, so there is some friend, internet acquaintance, or such that is luring them there.

Two young kids like that don't just show up at the Holiday Inn Express and get a room.

Once inside the secure area it's often easy to move from terminal to terminal. Unless we know what airline the girls purchased a ticket from, there would be literally thousands of passengers flying out of airport that day. In May of 2024 there were 6.4 MILLION passengers that went through DFW domestically. DFW International Airport | Official Website

Getting passenger information is NOT that easy. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other aviation regulatory agencies have access to flight manifest as part of their regulatory and safety oversight responsibilities. However law enforcement, though having access may have to obtain a search warrant or court order for the information unless a case of national security or an emergency. This ensures that privacy rights are respected while fulfilling law enforcement's needs for investigation.

Even if we could drill down by airline or flight for these two girls, since they don't have to show TSA an ID with their boarding pass (unless adults over 18) they could say any age they wanted under 18 for passenger manifest purposes.

Honestly, the going to the airport may have been a ploy to throw people off their trail if they had someone with a car that would give them a ride out of the area (or to Love field, where there are flights on Delta, Southwest, and at least through the beginning of May, Alaska).

LEO has not said they were past the TSA line or even in the gate waiting area.

They have only said they were sighted at Teminal B8.

It is entirely possible they met someone outside the terminal who picked them up in a vehicle, rather than getting on a plane.

The bit about thinking they are in another state is interesting.

I don't understand this.

There is precious little on Google about these two missing girls.

Basically the FB Missing page from The AWARE Foundation, the WS page, but no official Dallas police page, no news network updates.

Only 3 posts that I can see on a simple Google search.

I wonder LE or the families know where they are and are privately discusssing the situation, but not wanting to have any loud "Missing Persons" media attention.

They have been found according to Hailey's mom

I am very glad to hear this. The lack of public posting in the last several days makes complete sense, now.

I hope these two kids and their families can work things out, privately. Teens make stupid mistakes and should be able to get over them without sensation.
