'Lovers' Lane Murders' suspect 'held himself out to be law enforcement,' may have more victims: DA

After a suspect's arrest in the nearly 36-year-old murder case of Cheryl Henry and Andy Atkinson, officials said they are looking for people whom Floyd Parrott may have falsely pulled over before and after the 1990 murders.

I'm glad there's been an arrest and I'm sorry it took so long. I'm a couple of years older than Cheryl and was a young newlywed at the time of the murders. Since 1990, I've moved cross country twice, traveled internationally, started a couple of careers, raised three kids to adulthood, and semi retired. All of those things were stolen from Cheryl and Andy and those who love them. My thoughts and prayers are with their loved ones.

Today, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office takes a significant step in the ongoing pursuit of justice for Cheryl Henry, Andy Atkinson, and their families.

For years, our prosecutors have worked in partnership with @houstonpolice detectives and @FBIHouston agents on this case.
