TX - Child critically injured by daycare worker - 6/29/24

Police added that a 30-year-old woman, who works at the daycare, was arrested and charged with injury to a child, a first-degree felony. She is pending arraignment. Police did not identify the woman.

The 15-month-old is in critical condition.
Police had to start CPR when they arrived.
That is all unforgivable, and my heart goes out to her family.

I guess the 15-month-old was crying too loudly, or didn't want to take a nap, something like that -- so the daycare worker took care of it. SMH.
Why didn't the worker just walk away or ask for help?

Now this little one is fighting for her/his life. The child's parents must be crying, praying, and screaming all at the same time.
