MISSING ELDERLY PERSON

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office needs your help in locating missing 73 year old Christine Eloise Roy of Beaumont. She is a white female, 5 feet 6 inches tall, 155 to 160 pounds with blond hair.

She was last seen by her neighbors at her apartment at Country Village Apartments on Hwy 124 yesterday, January 4th, at around 5pm. Her family spoke with her last week and when they came by her apartment today she was not there but her vehicle was.

Deputies searched the apartment complex and did not locate her. It is believed that she may have walked towards Beaumont but was later picked up by a passing motorist.

Mrs. Roy suffers from mental illness and regularly takes medication, along with other physical medical conditions. She is not very sociable and my withdrawal when approached.
