Rusk and Gregg County officials are searching for a missing 54-year-old Pirtle man who has special needs, Rusk County Sheriff Office spokesman Sgt. David Roberts said.
Christopher "Bubba T" Terry was last seen Wednesday night. He is believed to have left his house sometime after 9 p.m.
Roberts described Terry as being about 5-feet, 6-inches tall and 150 pounds.
Roberts said Terry is autistic. He is described as very friendly.
Law enforcement officials and volunteers have been searching for Terry throughout the Pirtle area, Roberts said. A command post has been set up at the Pirtle United Methodist Church south of Kilgore.
Anyone who sees Terry should call the Rusk County Sheriff's Office at (903) 657-3581.
